“What strikes me is this hotel's deep connection to Durham's history-it's not just a place to stay, but a landmark in itself. I appreciate the blend of its heritage with modern comforts, and the way the staff share their local knowledge to enhance the experience. The dining sounds exceptional, and the fitness facilities add another layer of appeal.”

satisfactory stay overall
clean room excellent location hot water compensation sort
the room was spacious, and i found it to be very clean. the location was excellent, as it was easy to walk to various points of interest in the city. the staff were pleasant.
the gas supply was lost . this meant there was no hot water. i mentioned this at checkout and only received an apology, but some sort of compensation would have been better
